About Us

Crawdaddy’s was established in 1998 by brothers Mark and John Kren. One evening while sitting on 5 gallon buckets and drinking blush wine, inside an empty shell of a building that would eventually become Crawdaddy’s, Mark and John’s creative and ingenious minds began to invision a warm, inviting courtyard, cozy indoor seating with a vibrant Mardi Gras decor, and nothing but the finest foods served with a cajun flare. Both Mark and John had lived in Louisiana and always had a taste for cajun cuisine, and so their dream  came to life.

Crawdaddy’s became a fast local favorite winning many awards including Best Restaurant in Jensen Beach 5 years in a row, Best Restaurant in Martin County 3 out of 5 years, and the Stuart News’ Gold Award with best food and live music. Crawdaddy’s brought life to the historic downtown Jensen Beach area not only with their everyday business, but with the always spectacular Mardi Gras celebration and their participation in the annual Pineapple Festival.

Mark and John strive for excellence by making everyone feel welcome and at home, and by serving award winning dishes such as New York strip steak with wild mushrooms, pork chops with bourbon peaches, clam chowder, gumbo, jambalaya, and crawfish etoufee…the list goes on and on. Crawdaddy’s has live music (and dancing)  Thursday through Sunday in the courtyard with some of the best entertainers in Florida and around the country. Crawdaddy’s has a lunch menu, dinner menu, and a kids menu with a wide variety of items, The fresh baked desserts are superb, and don’t forget to try one of Crawdaddy’s famous Hurricanes or Margaritas. Whether you sit inside (at the bar or at a table), outside in the courtyard, or at the beautiful tiki bar, you are sure to be treated like a VIP as you are served the best food on the Treasure Coast.
